;Job Description:;;;;;Our Opportunity:;;;;;Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and enthusiastic ;Senior Financial Analyst; to join our rapidly growing Commercial Finance Consumables team! Combining an understanding of finance and practical knowledge of financial statements, while using data to make-and-drive decisions, this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive Chewy Consumables' growth and ensure financial objectives are achieved.;;;;;What You'll Do:;;;;;Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to convey recommendations and/or conclusions to leadership;;;;Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance;;;;Work cross-functionally with the broader Chewy finance team, the Chewy Consumables Merchandising Team, product team, marketing, supply chain, and accounting to fully understand the business, its customers, and overall operations;;;;Actively participate in the strategic planning, target setting, and quarterly/annual planning processes;;;;Effectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment;;;;;;;What You'll Need:;;;;;Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Management;;;;3+ years relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and grasp of financial statements;;;;Financial analysis and modeling skills, and experience in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis;;;;Advanced Excel (i.e., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc.) and PowerPoint skills;;;;Ability to think creatively, be a self-starter, work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines / prioritize changing workloads;;;;Strong written and oral communication skills;;;;;;;Bonus: ;;;;;Experience with SQL coding, Tableau, Oracle ERP;;;;;;Chewy is an equal opportunity employer.
