Description
Job Summary: To support the Controller in the accurate and timely reporting of daily, monthly, and annual financial and nonfinancial data for St Augustine, FL. Provide financial data and assistance to both manufacturing and the management team.
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or University and/or experience.
Minimum of seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced MS Excel, Word, Power Point and experience with SAP based financial systems preferred.
Master's Degree or CPA preferred.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Job Responsibilities:
Control the close process, including tracking and verifying all journal entries.
Preparation of monthly journal entries related to closing the books, KPI input, CEP reporting, financial input forms.
Prepares profits and loss statements for individual profit centers.
Maintains physical inventory records of products and supervises physical inventory.
Consolidates and analyzes all location activity data needed for month end closing.
Fixed Asset audit and control.
General ledger account analysis.
Preparation of monthly sales tax report.
Assist in preparation of the annual budget.
Compiles cost data for preparation of operating budgets.
Installs cost control procedures and provides staff supervision over cost systems and methods.
Supervises the compilation of periodic statements of product costs and prepares appropriate operating reports.
Follows up expenditures and assembles data for comparisons to budget items.
Prepares cost analysis for use in pricing adjustments.
Studies economies for various projects and programs.
Develops and/or improves methods of calculating and controlling costs.
Analyzes cost records to ascertain distribution of costs.
Conducts and analyzes audits of costs and prepares reports.
Computes cost value of work in process and finished goods for inventory valuation purposes.
Analysis of various daily reports.
Prepares estimates of new or proposed production costs.
Assures accuracy and timeliness of labor costs, payables, invoicing, and inventories.
