The EiRAM Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to evaluate SBA lenders, analyze 7(a) portfolio risk, and provide technical guidance supporting delegated authority and lender oversight decisions.
This is a senior-level role focused not only on analysis, but also on developing policy, improving oversight processes, and providing technical leadership.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate SBA lenders for eligibility, qualifications, performance, and continued Delegated Authority.
Conduct complex financial, credit, statistical, and portfolio risk analyses.
Analyze 7(a) lender portfolios to identify trends, concentrations, emerging risks, and required actions.
Develop recommendations for lender reviews, renewals, delegated authority, and risk mitigation.
Develop and improve policies, procedures, standards, and methodologies for Delegated Authority and Desktop Reviews.
Identify process gaps and implement improvements to lender oversight activities.
Review analytical work prepared by other staff for quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare reports, memoranda, work papers, and briefings for management.
Provide technical guidance on complex financial and credit-risk issues.
Coordinate with SBA leadership, analysts, program managers, legal counsel, and EiRAM management to deliver program requirements and deadlines.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
10+ years of progressively responsible experience providing financial analysis, credit risk, portfolio analysis, banking, or regulatory oversight support to the Federal Government.
Experience analyzing financial statements, credit risk, lender/loan portfolios, and quantitative and qualitative risk factors.
Strong ability to interpret regulations, policies, and procedures and develop recommendations for management.
Experience producing analytical reports, memoranda, work papers, and presentations.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, conditional formulas, and statistical functions.
Experience with SBA 7(a), 504, Delegated Authority, Desktop Reviews, or government-guaranteed lending preferred.
Familiarity with SBA systems such as Lender Portal or CAFS is a plus.
