Description & Requirements

The Senior Frontend Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern React-based frontend applications that support secure, scalable, and maintainable business solutions. The role provides technical leadership within the frontend development workstream, establishes reusable UI patterns and development standards, improves application quality and performance, and partners closely with Backend Developers, UX, Architects, Product Owners, and QA to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop enterprise web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design reusable and responsive UI components and shared frontend libraries.
• Integrate React applications with ASP.NET Core and .NET APIs.
• Lead frontend architecture decisions and establish coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, security, and maintainability.
• Build accessible web applications in line with WCAG standards.
• Implement automated testing and support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX professionals, Architects, QA Analysts, Backend Developers, and Business Analysts.
• Mentor developers and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
• Use AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, while maintaining appropriate quality and security standards.

Requirements, Qualifications & Experience:

• Eight or more years of software development experience working with enterprise applications.
• At least four years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of React Hooks, Context API, and state management tools such as Redux Toolkit or Zustand.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with component libraries such as Telerik React, Material UI, or Fluent UI.
• Experience with automated testing tools, including Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, frontend security, and OWASP best practices.
• Experience developing accessible applications in accordance with WCAG 2.2 standards.
• Experience building and optimizing high-performance web applications.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and promote frontend engineering best practices.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
