Senior Full Stack Developer

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to maintain and modernize legacy applications while designing and developing scalable software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for full-stack application development, API integration, custom ETL methodologies, and cloud-based deployments. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, enhance, and modernize legacy applications.

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.

• Leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support application development and deployment.

• Develop custom scripts to install and configure application code on AWS EC2 instances.

• Design, develop, and implement custom Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) methodologies.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.

• Develop Java and Angular applications that leverage Elasticsearch.

• Conduct unit testing and participate in peer code reviews to ensure software quality.

• Utilize automated testing frameworks, including Selenium.

• Analyze customer requirements and specifications to design and implement technical solutions.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver technically sound solutions.

• Apply analytical and methodical problem-solving approaches to address complex technical challenges within a collaborative team environment.

• Work within Agile and Scrum methodologies to support iterative development and delivery.

• Mentor junior developers on software development best practices.

• Produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

• Demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and workflow management skills.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and 11–15 years of prior relevant experience.

• Extensive experience in full-stack software development.

• Experience developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.

• Experience developing and deploying applications in cloud environments using AWS.

• Experience reading, interpreting, and developing technical solutions that satisfy customer requirements and specifications.

• Experience working within Red Hat Linux command-line environments.

• Experience developing and implementing custom ETL methodologies.

• Experience developing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.

• Experience developing applications that leverage Elasticsearch.

• Experience writing custom scripts to install and configure application code on AWS EC2 instances.

• Experience conducting unit testing and peer code reviews.

• Experience utilizing automated testing frameworks, including Selenium.

• Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, Git, and Jenkins.

• Strong communication, technical design, and documentation skills.

• Strong organizational, time management, and workflow management abilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.

• Ability to methodically evaluate technical challenges and develop effective solutions in a team environment.

• Experience working within Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

• Ability to mentor junior developers on software development best practices.
