Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET, Angular, AI)
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite, 5 days per week in Harrisburg, PA
Schedule: 10 hours/day and 5 days/week shown in the requisition; specific working hours to be confirmed
Interview: In-person at the Labor and Industry Building in Harrisburg, PA; metered street parking at applicant expense
Contract: Nov 16, 2026 - Jun 30, 2027. Historically, these roles are extended for an additional year.

Role Overview
Our client seeks a hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, integrate, modernize and support secure, scalable enterprise applications. The role centers on .NET, C#, MVC, Angular, SQL Server, REST APIs and cloud-native engineering, with practical use of AI-assisted development tools, generative AI and intelligent automation to improve delivery, code quality and testing.
This position requires five days onsite in Harrisburg, working closely with enterprise application teams, business stakeholders, architects and IT leadership. Work is performed in a secured facility. Selected resources must bring a $20 check or money order payable to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for an access badge on their first day. The in-person interview is at the Labor and Industry Building; metered street parking costs are not reimbursed.
Primary Responsibilities
" Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and accessible, responsive user interfaces using frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
" Develop back-end services using .NET/C#, Node.js and related technologies; design RESTful APIs, microservices and end-to-end integrations.
" Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles and clean architecture; modernize legacy applications and integrate cloud-based platforms.
" Participate in architectural reviews, technical design sessions and code reviews.
" Use AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/OpenAI, Claude, Cursor/Windsurf and Azure AI Foundry/Azure OpenAI for coding, debugging, refactoring, documentation, testing and secure enterprise integration.
" Evaluate AI-enabled delivery workflows and build AI-enabled features using LLM APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), enterprise knowledge integration and AI orchestration patterns.
" Apply appropriate information security, performance and quality standards and responsible AI safeguards, including confidential data protection and human review of AI-generated outputs.
" Design integrations among enterprise platforms, SaaS applications and internal systems; build secure REST/JSON APIs with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
" Integrate with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, SAP or Oracle as applicable, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions or Power Automate.
" Implement authentication, authorization, synchronization and integration monitoring; troubleshoot complex cross-system application issues.
" Design and deploy cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure and implement CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or equivalent platforms.
" Work with Docker, Kubernetes, serverless computing and infrastructure-as-code technologies; automate unit, integration, regression and API tests with AI-assisted tools where useful.
" Monitor application performance, security, availability and operational reliability; support secure DevSecOps delivery and vulnerability remediation.
" Use SQL Server to develop complex queries, stored procedures, data models and database performance optimizations; implement secure access/integration patterns and support data pipelines and AI-ready architectures.
" Mentor team members, lead technical design discussions, collaborate across product and architecture groups, and translate complex business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
" Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, delivery activities and technical documentation; identify opportunities to improve processes with AI, automation and reusable components.
Required Technical Skills
" Advanced hands-on full stack application development with SQL, .NET, MVC, Angular and C#.
" Enterprise software architecture, scalable application delivery and integration in cross-functional IT environments.
" Practical front-end/back-end development, secure REST APIs, Azure/cloud delivery, SQL Server data engineering and modern testing/CI/CD practices.
" Practical AI-assisted development and responsible use of generative AI tools and enterprise AI integrations.
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
