What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance user experience and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Engage in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative environment.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, databases, and application architecture.
• Experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Preferred

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
• Experience in the fintech or environmental sectors, understanding industry-specific challenges.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $160K to $220K, complemented by equity of 0.2%. This company offers a competitive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being.
