We are seeking a motivated Senior Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in web application development, backend services, databases, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and modern development frameworks. The candidate should be capable of independently contributing to the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise applications.

In this role, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications. You will develop REST APIs and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js. You will build responsive user interfaces using Angular and React. You will develop and optimize database queries, procedures, and integrations using Oracle SQL. You will deploy and manage applications in AWS and Kubernetes environments. You participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments. You will integrate AI and Generative AI capabilities into business applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions and provide technical guidance and support to junior team members when needed.

You will work within a scrum team to bring the designs and ideas to life for new or improved web applications. This work will support a mix of internal and external clients, and you will be working on projects currently in production.

You will start your day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work. Within the team you work on, you will choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle. You will spend most of your day developing and testing your code. Every three weeks, you will be involved in the release activities.

To thrive in this development career, you'll need to be an expert in front end and back end development, using Java, Oracle databases, and Javascript, NodeJS or Angular. Each sprint cycle could have a heavy front-end focus, a heavy back-end focus, or a mix of both, so you'll need experience working with front-end, scripting, and back-end technologies. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

• You'll start each day with a scrum, working in a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities while choosing user stories to complete. You will also participate in other agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, where you will present your work to up to 90 stakeholders.
• Working in three-week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and coding standards. Most of your daily schedule will be software development, but you will also test your code before submitting it to QA for final testing. You won't just focus on development in this role. You will also be responsible for testing and deployment.
• Continuous Learning. You will attend "lunch and learn" sessions to actively collaborate with other developers to share ideas or show what you've learned. An eagerness to learn will help you keep up with ever-changing technologies and maintain the ability to create the best tools for our clients.
• You're working on products currently in use. Those who report to you will act as a point of contact for one day/week, supporting your clients for any urgent issues requiring resolution. You may also have this responsibility. If so, you'll start those days with your regular work activity but will have to switch gears to a support role as needed throughout your assigned support day.
• You have 5+ years of experience in software development and experience mentoring and managing teams.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software development principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular, React, and Oracle SQL.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT APIs, or other AI platforms.
• Experience working in cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with containerization and DevOps best practices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
• Experience with Oracle ERP a plus!
