Senior Functional Consultant - Oracle Service & Field Service
Location: Milpitas, CA - five days onsite
Engagement: C2C / 1099
Openings:
- Opening 1: 14+ years of experience; long-term contract.
- Opening 2: 9 12 years of experience; six-month contract.
Nonlocal candidates willing to relocate are welcome.
Lead functional support for Oracle customer service and field service processes supporting installed semiconductor equipment. Work directly with business users and guide the offshore support team.
Responsibilities
- Resolve L2/L3 incidents and service requests in Oracle Fusion Service, Oracle Field Service (OFSC), or applicable EBS Service modules.
- Support service requests, installed base and asset tracking, service contracts, entitlements, warranty and depot repair.
- Support field-service scheduling, dispatch, technician mobility, parts/debrief and integration with inventory and billing.
- Review functional solutions, guide offshore delivery, and own the quality of root-cause analysis and fixes.
- Gather enhancement requirements, write functional specifications, configure changes and perform testing.
- Run regression testing for Oracle quarterly updates and support business-user UAT.
- Partner with customer-service and field-engineering teams to resolve process gaps and improve adoption.
Required qualifications
- Experience matching the applicable opening above.
- Strong functional experience in Oracle Service Cloud/Fusion Service and/or OFSC, or EBS Service modules such as TeleService, Field Service, Install Base and Service Contracts.
- End-to-end understanding of call-to-resolution, contracts and entitlements, field dispatch, parts and billing.
- Application Management Services experience with SLA-driven ticket handling.
- Ability to write functional specifications and test scripts and collaborate with technical teams.
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- B.E., B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc or equivalent degree.
Preferred qualifications
- Oracle Cloud CX Service or Field Service certification.
- Experience in high-tech or capital-equipment service organizations.
