    • Lead root cause investigations, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and develop corrective actions that improve fleet-wide performance and reliability.
    • Analyze operational data, performance trends, alarms, and fleet events to identify emerging risks and improvement opportunities.
    • Develop and implement operating strategies, protection philosophies, and system enhancements that optimize safety, flexibility, efficiency, and plant availability.
    • Support commissioning, startup, and early fleet experience activities while providing technical guidance for new unit introductions and product upgrades.
    • Collaborate with global engineering, product management, field service, and customer teams to deliver innovative solutions and successfully deploy next-generation technologies across the fleet.

    What You Bring

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; equivalent gas turbine industry experience may be considered.
    • 5+ years of experience in gas turbine engineering, fleet operations, fleet performance, reliability engineering, commissioning, field engineering, product engineering, or power generation operations.
    • Strong knowledge of large-frame gas turbine operation, operating philosophies, protection strategies, and auxiliary systems including fuel gas, fuel oil, lube oil, hydraulics, and cooling systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex gas turbine issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions that improve reliability and performance.
    • Experience analyzing operational and fleet performance data to identify trends, diagnose issues, evaluate risk, and develop practical engineering solutions.
    • Proven ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional engineering teams, influence technical decisions, communicate effectively, and drive continuous improvement using Lean or structured problem-solving methodologies.
    • Export Control Requirement (ECC): Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

    Preferred

    • Direct commissioning, startup, or field engineering experience supporting large-frame gas turbines.
    • Experience supporting advanced gas turbine platforms, including H-Class, HL-Class, or comparable OEM technologies.
    • Experience with fleet performance monitoring, reliability engineering, diagnostics, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and fleet analytics.
    • Experience leading outage troubleshooting, fleet issue resolution, root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and fleet-wide corrective action implementation.
    • Knowledge of gas turbine controls, instrumentation, protection systems, operational analytics, and digital monitoring tools.
    • Experience supporting new product introductions, prototype validation, product upgrades, utility customers, IPPs, or combined-cycle power generation facilities.
