Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Senior GCP Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud data solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders, development teams, DevOps engineers, and security teams.

The Solution Architect will be responsible for defining cloud architecture, designing modern data platforms, optimizing cloud infrastructure, implementing security best practices, driving enterprise data modernization initiatives, and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Develop scalable and high-performance cloud-native data solutions.

• Design data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Datastream, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.

• Define enterprise cloud architecture standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with development, security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.

• Design secure cloud architectures following enterprise security and compliance standards.

• Develop cloud cost optimization and resource utilization strategies.

• Support enterprise data migration and modernization initiatives.

• Provide technical leadership throughout solution design and implementation.

• Review solution architecture and recommend performance improvements.

• Conduct architecture reviews and technical design sessions.

• Present architectural solutions to executive leadership and client stakeholders.

• Develop architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and best practices.

• Ensure cloud environments meet scalability, availability, reliability, and performance objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 12%2B years of experience in Solution Architecture or Data Architecture.

• Extensive hands-on experience designing enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Strong expertise with BigQuery, Dataflow, Datastream, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.

• Experience implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.

• Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and governance.

• Experience developing cloud cost optimization and resource management strategies.

• Strong programming experience using Python and Apache Spark.

• Experience collaborating with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.

• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification.

• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification.

• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
