Job Overview:
- Serve as the key link between the demand planning and manufacturing teams.
- Balance production capacity with forecasted demand to ensure efficient supply execution.
- Create and deliver reliable supply plans aligned with inventory and business objectives.
- Support the full supply chain process through data-driven decision-making and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with global supply planning, production, sourcing, and analytics teams to align supply with demand priorities.
- Work with manufacturing teams to determine production capacity, lead times, and compliance with factory constraints.
- Collaborate with demand planners to validate forecast accuracy and align on production goals.
- Use SAP and advanced analytical tools to monitor supply metrics, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and improve process visibility.
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance supply planning capabilities, data quality, and decision-making speed.
- Build trust across cross-functional teams by communicating updates, risks, and recommendations clearly.
- Present complex data insights and supply issues to diverse stakeholders in a structured and compelling way.
- Support a culture of respect, inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply planning, working closely with demand planning and manufacturing.
- Background in factory-side buying (not retail buying).
- Strong understanding of product batch runs, lead times, and production capacity management.
- Expertise in SAP with strong ability to interpret data outputs and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt quickly between strategic, tactical, and operational tasks.
- Experience in dynamic, fast-paced, and global environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tableau, Cognos, SSAS, or MMX.
- Prior experience in supply chain or inventory planning in industries with finished goods, short product lifecycles, or high SKU counts.
- Strong storytelling and presentation abilities for explaining technical insights to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative team player with influencing skills and a constructive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working cross-culturally and cross-functionally in a matrixed organization.
