    Job Description

    Senior Hadoop Admin: Oversee and provide guidance in the upgrading of HDP and HDF clusters to ensure system stability. Oversee and provide guidance in the creation and deploying of Oozie workflows in the production environment. Oversee and coordinate the installation and configuration of tools like Jupyterhub, Hue, and Ni-Fi to integrate with the HDP cluster. Oversee and coordinate the daily monitoring of the HDP cluster. Oversee and provide guidance in resolving issues, creating different Yarn queues, handling DDL deployments, and handling user access and ticketing. Utilize Hadoop, Bigdata, NiFi, AWS, Spark Hive, Kafka, Hue, Oozie workflows, Linux, Python, SQL, Hortonworks, GIT, and Databases. Will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Requires Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related and 1 year experience.
