A growing organization is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations and serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers.
This is a hands-on role with exposure across employee relations, onboarding, compliance, performance management, HR administration, safety, and HR process improvement. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities with a high level of independence.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related questions
Support employee relations matters and escalate issues to leadership as appropriate
Manage HR support requests and identify trends or recurring issues
Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientations, E-Verify, and related documentation
Manage personnel files and ensure accurate HRIS records
Coordinate 30/60/90-day reviews and support the performance management process
Respond to employment verification requests
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations
Support employee investigations and disciplinary processes
Provide guidance on leave of absence, workplace concerns, grievances, organizational changes, and other employee relations matters
Support acquisitions and integrations, including employee onboarding, benefits, communications, and HR process implementation
Assist with OSHA documentation, workers' compensation reporting, and workplace safety initiatives
Partner with the Safety team to coordinate and track employee safety training
Conduct HRIS audits and maintain accurate employee information
Support employee engagement and team-building initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies, and overall employee experience
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
2–5 years of HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
HR certification is a plus
Experience working in a fast-paced, growing organization with changing priorities
Strong employee relations and customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Self-starter who is comfortable working independently
Resourceful, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
Comfortable working with employees and leaders at all levels
