Job Summary:
- Our client is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to drive operational excellence and lead strategic technical initiatives. This role offers a competitive base salary, a Variable Incentive Program, and a comprehensive nationwide relocation package.
- The ideal candidate will serve as a key architect of efficiency, focusing on the integration of automation and the optimization of resources to enhance overall productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision.
- Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals.
- Supports continuous improvement/automation activities.
- Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- Conducts cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
- Assists manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and design.
- Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: 5+ years of relevant industrial engineering experience.
- Master's Degree: 3+ years of relevant industrial engineering experience.
- PhD: Entry-level candidates with a doctorate are encouraged to apply.
- Equivalent Experience: A proven track record of success in the field in lieu of formal degrees.
