Senior Integration Developer (Journi)

In this role, you will help shape and deliver integration architecture for large-scale tolling environments, connecting critical platforms and services so they perform together effectively. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact systems work across cloud, CRM, IVR, SAP, and external platform integrations, with a strong emphasis on performance, maintainability, and well-structured technical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions using Microsoft .NET, C#, Azure cloud technologies, middleware, and document storage and retrieval systems.
• Analyze solution components and integration models, assess high-volume processing options, apply open API best practices, and reduce unnecessary data replication.
• Lead complex tolling solutions involving CRM, Azure, IVR, SAP, payment gateways, backend databases, traffic management systems, and other external platforms.
• Design and optimize IVR systems and data flows to improve customer interactions, operational efficiency, and system performance.
• Create required technical and functional designs, diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact analyses, lessons learned, and best-practice documentation.
• Follow Commission standards, policies, and procedures and perform other assigned role-related duties.

Requirements

Minimum Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, business management, information systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience as a developer or in a similar role, including Azure cloud solutions, IVR systems, external-system integrations, and tolling projects.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft government and commercial cloud platforms (Azure), including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing integrations with various external systems in the context of tolling projects.

Desired Skillset

• 10+ years of expertise developing complex systems integrations for high-volume organizations within SAP, MS Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management solutions, and Microsoft Azure Cloud hosting solutions preferred.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration services using C#, .NET 8+ or a supported .NET LTS version, and ASP.NET Core Web API, including REST APIs.
• Develop microservices and custom middleware components.
• Build Azure Functions and work extensively with Azure Service Bus.
• Implement JSON/XML payload transformations, validation, and data mapping.
• Follow clean coding principles, SOLID design patterns, and secure coding standards.
• Solid understanding of tolling industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
