Senior Internal Auditor

W-2 Contract

Duration - 3 Months

Location - Irvine, CA

Pay - $38.00 to 43.80/hour

Job Description: Summary:

The Senior Internal Auditor role will be responsible for executing SOX testing within the America's region (including Costa Rica and LATAM).

Job Responsibilities:

* Execute business process SOX key control testing for the Irvine, Utah, and Costa Rica.

* Ensures Edwards' compliance with financial regulations, company policies, internal controls, and best practices.

* Demonstrate accountability for meeting established SOX testing deadlines.

* Ensure high level of accuracy and quality of work performed.

Skills:

* Substantial understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)

* Substantial knowledge of financial concepts and principles and internal controls

* Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting established timeline and due dates.

* Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.

* Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.

Education/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.

* 8 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
