    • Develops market-entry and customer strategies, including assessments of counterparties, pricing structures, delivery terms, and commercial risks.
    • Partners with regional business units and operations teams to understand production plans, quality, and field constraints and to develop market solutions that support reliable offtake, reduce curtailments and flaring, and resolve operational-commercial issues.
    • Works with trading, logistics, and operations teams to assess the commercial feasibility of proposed deals and support delivery after agreements are executed.
    • Participates in commercial asset optimization and infrastructure evaluations where they support market access, customer development, or improved value across the crude oil supply chain.
    • Monitors customer, competitor, infrastructure, and regulatory developments that may create or affect market opportunities.
    • Maintains awareness of applicable commercial, contractual, regulatory, safety, and ethical requirements and conducts business accordingly.

    • Applies analytical skills to pricing, differentials, freight economics, arbitrage, and market opportunity evaluation.
    • Negotiates effectively and develops commercial structures that balance value creation, risk, and operational feasibility.
    • Makes timely, well-reasoned decisions using available information while considering risk, safety, ethics, and business impact.
    • Drives results through disciplined execution and accountability for commitments.
    • Communicates effectively by adapting messages to diverse audiences and creating shared understanding.
    • Collaborates effectively with operations, logistics, legal, credit, risk, trading, and analytics teams.
    • Solves complex commercial and operational problems by identifying root causes, evaluating alternatives, and implementing practical solutions.
    • Develops customer-focused solutions that support reliable offtake, strong relationships, and company value creation.
