Job overview and responsibilities

The Senior Investigator, Internal Investigations protects the organization by conducting complex, high-risk investigations that preserve employee safety, safeguard enterprise assets, and uphold institutional integrity. This role exists to ensure serious allegations-including workplace violence, threats, theft, fraud, and misconduct-are resolved through objective, fact-based inquiry that mitigates risk and supports informed decision-making. Through collaboration with Human Resources, Legal, Labor Relations, and business leaders, the Senior Investigator strengthens organizational resilience by identifying emerging risk patterns and informing enterprise-wide prevention strategies.

• Lead and conduct complex investigations related to workplace violence, threats, theft, fraud, and misconduct, ensuring accuracy, objectivity, and defensibility.
• Assess case severity, identify emerging risks, and escalate matters appropriately to protect employees and the organization.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Labor Relations, Security, and business leaders to align investigative actions with legal and organizational requirements.
• Prepare clear investigative reports, case summaries, and data-driven insights to support leadership decision-making and compliance needs.
• Identify investigative trends, systemic gaps, and opportunities to strengthen controls, policies, and workplace safety initiatives.

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor''s degree or related experience
• Demonstrated experience investigating workplace violence, threats, theft, fraud, and employee misconduct.
• Strong investigative capabilities, including interviewing, evidence analysis, fact development, and report writing.
• Experience partnering with HR, Legal, and Labor Relations in a corporate or regulated environment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting internal, corporate, or regulatory investigations.
• Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and risk indicators across cases.
• Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in sensitive, high-impact matters.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

• Professional certifications such as CFE, CPP, or equivalent.
• Experience with dBeaver SQL or other relational database
• Experience with ticketing/revenue accounting processes
• Experience with reservation system
• Experience with MS Office (Access, Excel, Word)
• Demonstrates an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and effectively leverages them to support research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. Apply critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to organizational policies for responsible AI use, data privacy, and security

The base pay range for this role is $81,795.00 to $106,602.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
