Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior IT Operations Support for a Contract with a client in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will support critical IT infrastructure, applications, and plant floor systems to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations and drive process improvements.

Rate Range: $38/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior IT Operations Support Responsibilities include:

• Provide hands-on technical support for IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user technologies within a manufacturing environment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving plant floor systems, networks, servers, and business-critical applications to minimize production downtime.

• Support and maintain Windows/Linux servers, Cisco networking equipment, virtual environments, and end-user devices.

• Collaborate with plant operations, business stakeholders, and global IT teams to prioritize projects, resolve technical issues, and implement improvements.

• Assist with Factory of Tomorrow initiatives, including IIoT, software-defined networking, mobility solutions, and digital manufacturing technologies.

• Develop and maintain support documentation while ensuring reliable operation of IT systems across a multi-shift, 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree (2-year) or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 1+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, infrastructure operations, or a similar technical environment.

• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows/Linux operating systems, networking technologies, and end-user computing devices.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer support skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $45.00 per hour
