Job Overview

The Strategic Portfolio Management Office is expanding the capabilities of its newly deployed Project Portfolio Management tool to support traditional and agile management processes. This role will lead the definition, configuration, pilot rollout, and enterprise-wide adoption of new PPM modules. Additionally, the position involves providing direct support to project managers, collaborating through the software development lifecycle, and creating role-specific training resources.

Active Job Duties

• Support project managers with project planning and scheduling adoption through demonstrations, office hours, and one-on-one assistance.

• Drive the rollout and user adoption of the project change request workflow within the enterprise PPM tool.

• Configure and develop portfolio, program, and agile management modules leveraging deep PPM business process experience.

• Collaborate with the PPM tool development team across the full software development lifecycle from requirements definition through testing.

• Pilot the rollout of new functional modules and support their expanded use across the enterprise.

• Create and deliver role-specific training, tips and tricks, and knowledge base articles to maximize tool capabilities.

• Contribute to ongoing governance committee operations focused on assessing, approving, and prioritizing PPM tool features.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

• IT Project Management Experience – 7 Years

• Program, portfolio, or agile project management experience – 3 Years

• Experience with software testing, training, and user guide development

• High proficiency in project scheduling in Microsoft Project or another enterprise class PPM tool

Preferred Skills:

• PMP, PgMP, PfMP, Scrum, SAFe certification

• ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) experience
