About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a seasoned, technically fluent Senior IT Project Manager for a high-stakes pricing modernization at a major healthcare distribution and life-sciences organization.
You will operate as the traffic controller across ~10 technical teams and external vendors—not as a developer and not as the vendor SOW owner. You must understand API migrations, JDE decoupling, and GCP well enough to call out risk, keep dual-run testing on schedule, and hit Thanksgiving/Christmas freeze windows.
What You'll Do:
- Drive a ~12-week dual-run: legacy JDE pricing vs. Pricing 2.0 on GCP; own defect triage and daily replication-pipeline operations.
- Manage the Pricing Engine Enabler across ~10 teams (MuleSoft Spring Boot APIs; JDE on-prem / JDE cloud / new APIs).
- Hold vendor transition resources to daily deliverables and scope without owning their SOW.
- Run PMO governance: Smartsheet schedules, Jira/Confluence execution, RAID, dependency maps, executive rollups; blend waterfall dates with SAFe ARTs.
- Facilitate working sessions that remove blockers; protect critical-path milestones through holiday cutover freezes.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years IT project management on complex, enterprise-scale programs.
- Proven lead of API migration or cloud/data integration (MuleSoft/Spring Boot, GCP, or equivalent)—you coordinated delivery, you did not write the code.
- Hands-on Smartsheet and Jira/Confluence today (learning on the job is not acceptable).
- Matrix management of multiple development teams plus external vendors (Big 4 / KPMG-style) without direct-line authority.
- Enough technical fluency to discuss API switches, ERP decoupling, replication, and cloud cutover risk with integration leads.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BSA background before PM.
- SAFe, ARTs, PI planning; hybrid waterfall + Agile cutovers.
- JDE or other ERP module decoupling.
- Commercial pricing, finance transformation, or e-commerce.
- PMP, CSM, or SAFe Agilist.
- GCP, Spring Boot, MuleSoft, GoldenGate, JDE, Salesforce.
