Senior IT Project Manager

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. This is an onsite position in Nashville, TN.

The Senior IT Project Manager will oversee technology projects from planning through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to established standards.

Duties:

• Manage multiple concurrent IT projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and documentation.

• Coordinate resources, timelines, and deliverables across technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and changes to scope.

• Lead project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders and senior management.

• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, quality standards, and audit requirements.

Qualifications:

• IT project leadership experience, including 2+ years managing multiple concurrent project teams.

• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

• Experience with project planning, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools; Microsoft Project experience preferred.

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• Active PMP certification required.

• One additional active certification required: CAPM, Scrum Master, or SAFe.

• Experience with CMMI-DEV, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Medicare/Medicaid IT projects highly preferred.
