Job Role: Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot Microservices & Azure Cloud
Job Location: Pleasanton, CA (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Pay Range: $50 to $60/Hr on C2C
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications using modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, GitHub Actions, and Azure Cosmos DB is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and implement scalable Microservices-based architectures.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments via Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Work with Azure Cosmos DB for data storage, retrieval, and performance Eligible to workimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Follow best practices for code quality, security, scalability, and performance.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Java 8/11/17+
- Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization
- Experience creating and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Azure Cosmos DB
- Knowledge of Git version control
- Understanding of cloud security, scalability, and monitoring concepts
