    In business for over 20 years, a well-established, family-owned fire and safety organization is immediately hiring a Lead Kitchen Fire Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technicians to cover Nebraska and Western Iowa.     As the Lead Kitchen Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technician, you will mentor and coach techs; inspect, install, troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety of kitchen fire suppression systems, emergency lighting systems, perform hydrostatic testing of low-pressure cylinders, fire extinguisher repairs and filling; completing documentation of work performed using a tablet; other related duties as required.

     

    SHIFT: 4x Days, 6:00am – 5:00pm (Monday – Thursday). OT after 40 hours.

    SUPPRESSION TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least five (5) years service, inspection, and/or install experience with kitchen fire suppression systems and/or fire extinguishers (i.e. Hydrotek, Buckeye, Ansul, Redilite, etc.)
    • UL300 Certification a strong asset
    • Strong troubleshooting skills
    • Knowledgeable of NFPA 17A and NFPA 96
    • Ability to travel throughout Nebraska and Iowa
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
    • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks (MVR, Drug, and Employment References)
