Senior Litigation and E-Discovery Services Analyst Cooley is seeking a Senior Litigation & E-Discovery Services Analyst to join the Litigation & E-Discovery Services team.Position summary: The Senior Litigation & E-Discovery Services Analyst provides support and administration of litigation technology, applications and systems as part of the LEDS department. This role coordinates litigation support service needs for Cooley's litigation practice providing back-up support and guidance to LEDS team members across the firm, including vendor management. Specific duties and responsibilities include designing and maintaining litigation databases to manage data for review, production, and analysis, as well as supporting other litigation applications. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Position responsibilities:Support firm litigation attorneys, eDiscovery attorneys, project managers, and legal teams with all aspects of litigation support from case inception through trialDesign and maintain litigation databases to manage litigation data for review, production, and analysisCoordinate and handle requests for new or modified databases created using litigation applications including, but not limited to, Relativity/RelOne, CSDisco, and other industry standard processing tools, and outside service and software systems for litigation supportProvide technical support and advice related to litigation technology and electronic discoveryWork with eDiscovery attorneys, project managers, and legal teams to execute document indexes and perform keyword searchesCoordinate with eDiscovery attorneys, project managers, and legal teams with project planning, developing document review protocols, searching, testing and sampling and all aspects of litigation document review and productionExperience utilizing AI-enabled eDiscovery technologies, including Technology Assisted Review (TAR), active learning, generative AI tools, and advanced analytics, with responsibility for validating outputs, applying quality control protocols, and supporting defensible AI-driven discovery workflowsConduct quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of document productions including, but not limited to privilege and confidentiality designations and redactionsMaintain a working knowledge of and stay current on eDiscovery and litigation support technology,Participate in management of litigation support and eDiscovery vendor relationshipsProvide training and support to legal teams on the use of litigation support systems and applicationsTrain legal teams to use search syntax for use in searching litigation review databasesMaintain documentation of work performed on litigation related client data, from receipt through conclusion of matterDevelop process documentation and user training materials as directedMaintain and administer LEDS workflow documentation tools and systemsTroubleshoot issues as they arise with litigation teams, systems, and processesFollow LEDS department and firm policies and procedures related to litigation data management and all aspects of litigation supportAdhere to firm wide client/matter data classification and management standards in identification of client related dataCommunicate with and provide back-up support to LEDS colleagues in other officesExpectation to bill time on hourly basisEnsure accurate and daily entry of billable and non-billable time and review Intapp entries prior to month-end closingAll other duties as assignedSkills and experience :Required :After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applicationsAvailable to work overtime, as requiredAvailable to travel, as required6+ years' experience in litigation and eDiscovery services (including administering litigation review database applications, e.g., Relativity/RelOne, CSDisco, and other industry standard processing tools), along with the proven ability to operate at an elevated level in terms of scope of responsibility, judgement and autonomyProficient with standard computer equipment, laptops and printers and generally familiar with all aspects of software interaction with network systems and business application systemsThorough understanding of relational databases, litigation support-related software and technology and the fundamentals of desktop and network operating systemsExperience with litigation preparedness and response, including electronic discovery and related supportTechnical knowledge of and experience with the latest information technology tools and standards to support enterprise information management, as well as applications in data analytics to help EOE.The expected hourly pay range for this position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week is $56.00 - $74.00 ($116,480.00 - $153,920.00 annually).
