What you will have an opportunity to do:
BASIC FUNCTION: The Senior Locksmith will perform and oversee door maintenance and locksmith services for the hotel property, including installation, maintenance, programming, and repair of hard keys, mechanical locks, doors, door hardware, and the Salto electronic lock system. This position serves as the property expert for complex locksmith and electronic access-control issues and provides technical guidance to other Facilities team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Serve as the property expert and escalation point for locksmith and access-control issues.
Install, program, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the Salto electronic lock system, including locks, readers, credentials, access levels, and related equipment.
Install, repair, adjust, rekey, and maintain mechanical locks, cylinders, door hardware, hard keys, and master key systems.
Perform complete door preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records for locksmith and electronic lock systems.
Diagnose complex issues involving electronic locks, batteries, power, communication, software, and connectivity.
Support locksmith and access-control work for renovations, construction projects, room changes, and new installations.
Coordinate with Facilities, Security, Information Technology, vendors, and contractors to resolve access-control issues.
Coach and mentor other technicians and Locksmith on locksmith practices, Salto systems, troubleshooting, and safe work practices.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace and manage the inventory of tools, keys, credentials, and replacement parts.

What are we looking for?
QUALIFICATIONS:
Six years of locksmith experience required.
Expert-level experience with electronic lock systems, specifically Salto, required.
Strong knowledge of mechanical locks, door hardware, key control, and master key systems. ASSA ABLOY experience preferred.
Locksmith certifications from ALOA or other organization preferred.
Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electronic access-control systems.
Ability to read floor plans, door schedules, blueprints, and key plans.
Texas Driver's License with good driving record preferred.
Compensation:
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
