We are a family-owned manufacturer of premium fresh prepared foods, and we are hiring a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability at our Fall River, MA facility. This on-site role reports to the Director of Reliability and Maintenance and oversees two managers and one supervisor, who lead 10 to 14 hourly technicians. The plant runs heavy PLC-controlled equipment across automated and manual lines, including conveyors, chillers, boilers, fillers, packaging, and labeling systems.

We have a strong team in place and need a leader who will develop it further while building a CMMS-centered reliability system that reduces recurring failures.

Responsibilities

Lead daily maintenance execution with a strong floor presence across shifts
Own the CMMS workflow from work request through closeout, including planning, scheduling, and backlog management
Partner with Operations, Sanitation, FSQA, and Engineering on weekly scheduling and maintenance windows
Lead root cause analysis and turn findings into lasting fixes
Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs based on failure history and criticality
Coach and develop managers, supervisors, and technicians, and build cross-training to reduce knowledge gaps
Manage spare parts, contractors, and maintenance operating and capital budgets

Qualifications

8+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (food not required)
24/7 manufacturing experience preferred
Proven people leader who has built teams and developed direct reports
Hands-on ownership of maintenance planning and a CMMS
Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting knowledge
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
CMRP, Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma experience is a plus
