In this role, you will perform daily maintenance, installations, and repairs across conveyors, material handling equipment, sortation systems, and advanced automation technologies. You will troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems-including PLCs, robotics, and high-speed sortation-while supporting infrastructure upgrades and preventative maintenance initiatives. YOUR TASKS
Perform daily maintenance, installations, and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned.
Respond to all system issues involving conveyors, MHE, sortation, and controls (ARMADA, Hardware, Software, etc.)
Assists with any infrastructure upgrades, along with modifications/repairs to building assets.
Basic troubleshooting/diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system components of the conveyor system and building components, including but not limited to:
PLCs/Controllers
High Speed Sortation Systems
Material Handling Equipment
Industrial Automation (Industrial Wrappers/Carton Erectors/Carton Closers/Carton Wrap)
1D/2D/3D AS/RS and Multishuttle Systems
VFDs/MDR/Palletizers/Depalletizers
Robotic Systems (Cobots/AMRs/AGVs)
Scanners (Cognex/Sick/DataLogix)
Power distribution (480/240/120/24)
Communication systems (Ethernet/Profibus)
Read, understand, and explain complex operation manuals, diagrams, and manufacturers' specifications.
Ability to support all initiatives related to the day-to-day maintenance/upkeep of the facilities.
Perform detailed preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance tasks as directed or with little to no supervision.
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex automation and conveyance systems.
Repair, replace, and maintain in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and the manufacturer's specifications.
Support the coordination of third parties and ordering parts.
Interact with manufacturers, vendors, and operations to remedy concerns, offer solutions, or implement modifications.
