Senior Manager – Accounting & Reporting Advisory In this role you will execute and lead Accounting & Reporting Advisory engagements, driving client deliverables and ensuring adherence to accounting standards.Responsibilities Execute and lead Accounting & Reporting Advisory engagements, managing research and preparation of client deliverables.Prepare and review account reconciliations, support client communication, identify issues, resolve discrepancies, and appropriately escalated matters.Review and analyze complex contracts, conduct and support technical accounting research, and document conclusions in accordance with applicable guidance.Prepare and contribute to the review of accounting memoranda and policies, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with accounting standards.Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures; research SEC filing requirements and prepare supporting accounting schedules and audit support.Determine appropriate journal entries and other operational accounting matters.Serve as post‑acquisition integration SME, demonstrating familiarity with standard IMO practices and procedures.Serve as a technical accounting subject‑matter expert for the firm's valuation practice, providing ad hoc research and support.Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations for clients, including management of accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll processing and posting, and journal entry preparation.Actively participate in business development, client pursuits, and proposals.Identify areas to scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple projects and environments.Interact with finance‑focused ERPs (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle) and leverage AI‑enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance research, streamline deliverable preparation, and improve overall efficiency.Qualifications Bachelor of Finance or Accounting and 8+ years of finance process and/or transformation experience.Broad knowledge of US GAAP, including purchase accounting, derivatives, complex debt and equity securities, stock‑based compensation, revenue recognition, and lease accounting.Experience interpreting complex accounting standards and documenting practical applications.Deep experience with M&A transactions, especially post‑acquisition integration.Audit readiness at AICPA and PCAOB levels preferred.Experience presenting to the c‑suite and executive tier.Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.Relationship‑focused with clients, peers, and management.Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to teamwork.Creative problem‑solving, accountability, and strong technical and analytical skills.Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Bill.com, Expensify, and familiarity with or interest in AI tools.CPA preferred; post‑acquisition transaction experience also preferred.Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $120,000 – $215,000. Eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
