Job Title: Senior Manager Client Retention & Acquisition Strategy
Location: New York City , NY (Hybrid - Mon/Fri Remote; Tues-Thurs Onsite )
Duration: 6 months, possible extension, potential conversion

Job Description:
Department: Client Growth & Retention
Senior Manager Client Retention & Acquisition Strategy:
The Client Growth and Retention department is part of New York Life s Foundational Business and is responsible for accelerating enterprise growth through initiatives focused on customer acquisition, client engagement, and retention.
We are seeking experienced consulting professionals to support a portfolio of high-priority strategic initiatives. These resources will work directly with senior leadership to develop growth strategies, evaluate new market opportunities, and support the design of commercial and go-to-market approaches that drive measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings a strategy consulting background with experience in supporting growth-focused initiatives, including customer acquisition, commercialization, market expansion, and go-to-market strategy development.

Main Responsibilities:
Support the development of growth strategies designed to drive customer acquisition, increase client engagement, and improve retention outcomes.
Analyze client, market, and business performance data to develop strategic recommendations that address commercial and financial feasibility.
Develop executive-level presentations, analyses, and materials for senior leadership decision-making.
Support project execution by helping define roadmaps, milestones, and key deliverables across multiple workstreams.

Who We Are Looking For:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Approximately 5-8 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, growth strategy, business development, or a related field.
Strong understanding of front-end business functions, including marketing, customer growth, and commercial strategy development.
Financial services experience is required; insurance industry experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Engagement Profile:
Staff augmentation / consulting engagement.
Individual contributor role equivalent to Senior Associate level.
Will work directly with senior leaders within the Client Growth and Retention department.
Focused on strategy development, growth initiatives, customer acquisition, and go-to-market planning.
