Job overview and responsibilities
Responsible for defining, delivering, and operating the enterprise collaboration technology ecosystem across Microsoft 365 platforms including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Office applications. The role drives strategy, governance, modernization, and adoption of collaboration services to improve productivity, security, and employee experience.
This position drives a culture of innovation and continual improvement, advancing AI-enabled collaboration capabilities including Copilot, agentic automation, and intelligent workflows. The team operates as a core engineering function, building scalable, automation-first solutions through scripting (e.g., PowerShell), APIs, and emerging AI-driven approaches to eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency at enterprise scale.
Works cross-functionally with Security, Infrastructure, Legal, Finance, and business leaders to align collaboration capabilities with enterprise priorities while maintaining compliance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
Strategy, Roadmap & Platform Ownership:
Define and execute the enterprise collaboration roadmap across M365 platforms, including cloud migration, platform consolidation, retirement of legacy systems, and adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., Copilot, AI agents) aligned to business priorities and productivity outcomes
Engineering, Integration & Automation:
Lead a high-performing engineering team delivering scalable automation solutions through scripting (e.g., PowerShell), API integrations, and agentic automation
Drive provisioning, reporting, audit workflows, and operational efficiency through automation-first design
Service Delivery & Operational Excellence:
Own end-to-end operational support for M365 services including reliability, incident management, service desk alignment, change control standards, and proactive monitoring using telemetry and usage trends
Governance, Risk & Compliance:
Establish and enforce governance frameworks across collaboration platforms including data protection, external sharing, lifecycle management, AI governance, and regulatory compliance in partnership with Security and Legal teams
Adoption, Training & User Enablement:
Lead enterprise adoption programs including Copilot rollout, user engagement strategies, training, and communication frameworks to drive effective usage while managing high-change platform updates
Licensing, Cost Optimization & Vendor Management:
Define and manage M365 licensing strategy (E3/E5/F3, Copilot), including cost optimization, entitlement governance, and partnership with Finance, Procurement, and Microsoft/vendor ecosystem
Program Leadership & Team Management:
Lead large-scale enterprise initiatives, develop engineering talent, and drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement while providing executive reporting and stakeholder alignment

The base pay range for this role is $140,600.00 to $183,108.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
