Job Summary

The Senior Manager, E-Commerce & Digital Marketing is responsible for the profitable growth of Luxors digital commerce business across Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Amazon Business, Amazon 1P, Amazon 3P, reseller ecommerce, and other marketplace channels. This strategic leadership role owns revenue generation, profitability, customer acquisition, digital merchandising, website performance, and marketing effectiveness for a business exceeding $15 million in annual revenue and more than $1.5 million in annual media spend.

The position serves as the business owner for Luxors ecommerce platform, digital commerce roadmap, and agency relationships, establishing the strategy, priorities, and initiatives that drive long-term ecommerce growth and profitability. The role is a key cross-functional leader, partnering across the organization to align marketing, product, sales, operational, and technology initiatives in support of company objectives. The role leads a team of four and is accountable for achieving revenue, margin, marketplace, conversion, and customer acquisition objectives while identifying new opportunities to expand digital commerce capabilities and improve customer sell-through.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

REVENUE & BUSINESS LEADERSHIP

• Own revenue, profitability, and P&L performance across all digital commerce channels.
• Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and growth strategies.
• Deliver revenue, margin, and customer acquisition targets across D2C, Amazon Business, Amazon 1P, Amazon 3P, and marketplace channels.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability, conversion rates, and customer retention.
• Monitor and report on business performance and key growth metrics.
• Translate performance data into actionable recommendations and clear business narratives for leadership.
• Lead cross-functional planning with other departments to achieve prioritized business goals.

E-COMMERCE & MARKETPLACE Leadership

• Own the digital commerce roadmap, ecommerce platform strategy, website roadmap, and user experience.
• Lead strategy and execution for Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, FBA, FBM, and other marketplace channels.
• Drive market share growth, category expansion, and improved product visibility.
• Partner with Product Management, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to support product launches and growth initiatives.
• Lead customer acquisition and media strategy across paid search, retail media, SEO/GEO, email and other growth channels, optimizing investment against revenue and profitability.
• Establish and monitor KPIs including revenue growth, ROAS, MER, CAC, conversion rate, and customer lifetime value.
• Monitor competitive activity, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities, risks, and product roadmap recommendations.
• Set the direction for digital merchandising, pricing, promotions, product listings, content, ratings, reviews, and conversion optimization, leveraging internal and external partners for execution.
• Support reseller ecommerce growth through digital merchandising, content strategy, marketplace expertise, and ecommerce best practices that improve customer sell-through.

WEBSITE PLATFORM & AGENCY MANAGEMENT

• Prioritize platform enhancements, integrations, personalization initiatives, and conversion optimization opportunities.
• Partner with IT and development resources to ensure website performance, security, and scalability.
• Serve as the primary owner of agency and external partner relationships, including performance management, budgets, contracts, and accountability for results.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, capabilities, and partners that support growth and profitability.

LEADERSHIP & TALENT DEVELOPMENT:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of digital commerce and marketing professionals.
• Prioritize and manage team workloads based on business objectives with a firm understanding of how to balance important with urgent assignments.
• Establish clear goals, accountability measures, and development plans.
• Foster a performance-driven culture focused on ownership, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent.

Job Requirements

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Strong business acumen with demonstrated P&L and revenue ownership.
• Deep expertise in ecommerce, digital commerce, and marketplace management.
• Extensive experience managing Amazon 1P, Amazon 3P, FBA, and FBM businesses.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, paid media, SEO, conversion optimization, and customer acquisition.
• Experience managing ecommerce platforms, website roadmaps, and digital technology investments.
• Ability to manage and hold agencies and external partners accountable for performance.
• Advanced analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, competitive analysis, and marketplace dynamics.
• Strong leadership and talent development capabilities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive ecommerce, digital commerce, or revenue marketing experience.
• Experience managing an ecommerce business with annual revenue exceeding $15 million.
• Experience managing annual paid media investments exceeding $1.5 million.
• Direct experience with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, FBA, and FBM business models.
• Experience across both B2B and D2C ecommerce channels.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership and accountability for revenue and profit performance.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Preferred:

• MBA or advanced business degree.
• Experience in consumer products, durable goods, furniture, or related industries.
• Experience with Shopify, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar ecommerce platforms.
• Experience leading ecommerce transformation and scaling digital businesses.
