JOB SUMMARY:

General job purpose is to provide oversight, guidance and support as it relates to the Operational Finance function. This includes partnering with operators and delivering high quality customer service while influencing decisions and driving financial results. Additional aspect of job includes ensuring department deadlines are met and company policies are adhered to as well as identifying departmental process improvements. Candidate must participate in financial reviews with executive leadership. Job involves leading a team of multiple exempt and non-exempt positions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and supervises the overall financial function.
  • Oversee month-end financial close process.
  • Manage finance staff by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, and performance management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting of business results with variance commentary.
  • Perform in-depth analysis on actual financial performance extending findings to provide meaningful recommendations.
  • Develop short and long term financial plans including forecasts, budgets, and five year plans.
  • Develop ad hoc and new business analysis, ROI’s, and financial models utilizing sensitivity and scenario tools.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Master’s degree is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years, 3-5 years Supervisory preferred (Experience requirements also allow for an equivalent combination of education where requirements are not strictly met.)
