POSITION TITLE: Senior Manager Global Compensation

DEPARTMENT: Total Rewards

  • POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred
  • PHR or SPHR certification or CCP designation preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of compensation administration experience including 2 years' supervisory experience required; Global experience and experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Experience interpreting and revising compensation plan documents (bonus, long term incentive, equity) required
  • Proficiency in Wage and Hour and FLSA regulations required; Knowledge of pay transparency regulations preferred
  • HCM experience required; Experience with Oracle preferred
  • Mergers & Acquisition experience preferred
  • Experience with performance management systems preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office including advanced Excel skills required

MAJOR DUTIES:

The Global Compensation Manager is responsible for leading a group of compensation professionals who design, implement, and manage global compensation programs that attract and retain talent while aligning with business strategy and ensuring compliance across regions.

Global Compensation Strategy & Design

  • Develop and implement global compensation strategies
  • Design salary structures and job architecture
  • Oversee incentive programs (broad-based, sales, investment management, long term incentive, equity and executive)

Market Analysis & Benchmarking

  • Oversee global market benchmarking using survey data
  • Provide recommendations on pay positioning
  • Analyze pay equity and compression risks

Annual Compensation Planning

  • Lead annual merit, bonus, and equity cycles
  • Partner with Finance on accruals and budgets
  • Develop communication materials
  • Ensure proper compensation system design and administration

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with global laws and regulations, SOX requirements
  • Support pay equity/transparency analysis and reporting
  • Maintain compensation policies and governance, execute all necessary governance (necessary governing body approvals)
  • Partner with Legal and HRBP&R on risk mitigation

Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Advise HR and business leaders globally
  • Conduct interviewing, hiring, performance evaluation, professional development, counseling and supervision of staff
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues, Finance, Payroll, and Legal
  • Support M&A and organizational changes

HOURS/LOCATION:

  • 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (overtime as required)

  • Hybrid work arrangement
