Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manager, IT Security Operations to lead the organization's cybersecurity operations program. This role is responsible for overseeing Security Operations (SOC), Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Security Monitoring while driving continuous improvement across the security program. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership experience and can effectively translate cybersecurity risks into actionable business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Security Operations, including threat monitoring, detection, investigation, and incident response.
  • Oversee SIEM, EDR, NDR, and other security monitoring platforms to improve visibility and response capabilities.
  • Direct vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and patch management efforts across the enterprise.
  • Lead Identity & Access Management (IAM), including identity lifecycle management, MFA, RBAC, Conditional Access, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Develop and maintain incident response procedures, operational runbooks, and security playbooks.
  • Drive automation, process improvements, and operational maturity across security operations.
  • Partner with Security Architecture, Infrastructure, GRC, and business leaders to strengthen enterprise security.
  • Develop security metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting on operational performance, threats, and risk posture.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cybersecurity operations team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with a strong focus on Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection, or Vulnerability Management.
  • 3+ years leading cybersecurity teams or enterprise security programs.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR, vulnerability management platforms, and enterprise security monitoring tools.
  • Strong knowledge of incident response frameworks, threat detection, and security operations best practices.
  • Experience leading enterprise IAM initiatives, including identity lifecycle management, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, and PAM.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, operational KPIs, and cybersecurity reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Bonus Skills
  • CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
  • Experience leading or maturing a Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar enterprise security platforms.
  • Experience with SOAR, security automation, and threat intelligence integration.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, cloud security (Azure/AWS), and regulatory frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.
  • Experience conducting tabletop exercises, crisis management, and cross-functional incident response.
