Job Overview and Responsibilities
This position will lead and manage logistics services optimization projects throughout the entire logistics organization, be it in Warehousing, AOG, BMC or other areas. This position will direct the activities of our warehouse team in support of the logistics initiatives in order to improve warehouse efficiency and accelerate parts movement throughout the enterprise. In this role, the Sr. Mgr - Logistics Services Optimization will work with frontline as well as department management team to implement lean six sigma principles through a common approach. Duties include applying advanced Lean and Six Sigma principles to transformation and process optimization, to deliver process transformation and optimization projects, working closely with business leadership to develop strategy, key performance metrics and measurements. In addition, the Sr Manager will work with functional and cross functional business teams to identify opportunities for improvement, for gathering data, analyzing and developing improvements and innovations that are statistically proven, establishing sustainment plans and preparing presentations to communicate project status. Projects range in duration and complexity from quick analyses lasting two to three weeks to large scale transformative efforts that can last up to 18-months. This Sr. Manager is also in charge of all SME content across the supply chain related to SOPs to assist the Global Learning team in the development of content and the transition in the warehouse to new processes in compliance with the GMM.
Qualifications
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Master's degree, or bachelor's degree in engineering, technology or business administration or related field, or Project Management Certification
Minimum 7+ years of related work experience
Minimum 5 years' experience managing complex projects related to Continuous Improvement
Demonstrated successful project delivery in Continuous Improvement
Experience managing multiple large complex projects across multiple functions
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma
Experience managing and mentoring project management staff
Experience presenting, escalating, and providing solutions to senior leadership
Strong business acumen and the ability to partner effectively across various disciplines
Strong ability to understand complex interplays between operational finance and technical decisions
Ability to manage multiple large complex projects across multiple functions
Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Visio and Project or similar software
Travel up to 25%
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $127,870.00 to $166,492.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
