Senior Manager, Strategic Finance (Us)

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to be a key business partner to Commercial Finance, Program Finance, R&D Finance, Strategic Alliances, and Alliance counterparts. The Senior Manager will manage multiple alliances in the Commercial and R&D stages to ensure adherence to contractual agreements and partner with alliance counterparts & internal stakeholders. This position is responsible for managing milestones and royalty obligations to and from Regeneron across all collaborations. This position will be responsible for consolidation of various alliance budgets including leading and executing the core processes for forecasting, budgeting, and analysis for decision support of Regeneron's current and future alliance commercial products. This includes working closely with collaboration partner counterparts to analyze budget and actual information and working with Commercial Finance to consolidate Regeneron budgets, forecasts and management reporting.

When & Where:

This role will sit in our Sleepy Hollow, NY office and is expected to be on-site 4 days per week.

Discover Your Role:

• Oversee collaborations arrangements and work with functional finance teams and Strategic Alliances to manage deliverables and milestones
• Lead, participate in and coordinate Joint Finance Committees for multiple collaborators and manage meeting materials (presentations, agendas, meeting minutes, etc.)
• Proactively identify potential issues and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to problem solve
• Prepare financial analysis in support of ad hoc requests and various special projects for senior management
• Work closely with internal Finance colleagues for corporate needs and deliverables associated with Alliance data including Quarterly Reforecasts
• Manage overall milestone and royalty obligations to and from Regeneron across collaborations
• Assist in analyzing quarterly budget to actual variance reports
• Compile, develop and analyze commercial-related forecasts for partnered products in conjunction with internal Commercial/Medical Affairs Finance colleagues
• Works with Accounting to reconcile quarterly actuals for purposes of settlement with collaborators

This Role Requires:

• Bachelors degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent. Masters degree/MBA is preferred.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
• Ability to analyze commercial financial data and prepare clear, actionable management reports
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Strong presentation skills and executive presence
• Experience with ERP financial applications (Oracle or Hyperion is a plus)
• Basic understanding of Commercialization of products in Biotech/Pharma industry is a plus
