Position Overview:Atrium is seeking an experienced, client-facing leader to head our Talent Tech team. In this role, you will serve as a
trusted, tech-agnostic advisor to clients and prospects navigating the contingent workforce technology landscape, guiding them in the evaluation and selection of Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Freelance Management Systems (FMS), and Direct Sourcing platforms best suited to their existing tech stack and workforce strategy.
You will also own and cultivate Atrium's partnership relationships across our technology ecosystem, collaborating with vendors on client opportunities and negotiating pricing at a strategic level on behalf of clients.
This is a highly visible role: you will lead a team, serve as the internal go-to expert supporting Atrium's account teams on platform functionality and issue resolution, and represent Atrium both internally and externally. Your consultative expertise will directly shape client outcomes and Atrium's position in the extended workforce technology ecosystem.
Responsibilities- Provide consultative, tech-agnostic guidance to clients and prospects on the selection of VMS, FMS, Direct
- Sourcing, and EOR platforms, optimizing client workflows by analyzing their HR tech ecosystem, processes, and pain points
- Continuously monitor the HR Tech and extended workforce technology market - vendor roadmaps, product releases, and emerging entrants, to bring clients the best systems for their business needs
- Develop clear, objective comparisons of technology platforms and deliver executive-ready product and service recommendations, whether the client is building from scratch or leveraging Atrium's technology partnerships
- Develop polished presentations and sales collateral (assessment findings, platform comparisons, business cases, and proposal decks), and play an active role in sales presentations, pitches, demos, and RFP responses
- Partner with clients from solution design through implementation and beyond to ensure successful adoption, coordinating engagement across vendor sales, solutions, and implementation stakeholders
- Advise and guide Atrium's internal account teams on client technology platform functionality, escalate high-priority issues to technology partners, and stay engaged through resolution
- Manage, coach, and develop direct reports, delegating effectively and fostering professional growth as the practice scales
- Build, maintain, and deepen partnership relationships across Atrium's technology ecosystem - VMS, Direct
- Sourcing, talent marketplace, and FMS providers, and negotiate platform pricing on clients' behalf
- Contribute to assessment frameworks, comparison matrices, and advisory methodologies that scale the Talent Tech practice
- Represent Atrium externally at industry events, vendor conferences, and in market-facing thought leadership
Qualifications- 7-10 years of experience in contingent workforce, extended workforce technology, MSP/VMS, EOR/AOR, Early Talent program management, or workforce solutions consulting
- Deep, hands-on familiarity with multiple VMS platforms (e.g., Workday VNDLY, Beeline, VectorVMS, SAP Fieldglass, Flextrack), plus working knowledge of Direct Sourcing platforms (e.g., Opptly, WorkLLama, TalentNet, LiveHire) and FMS platforms (e.g., Worksuite, YunoJuno, Lifted by Upwork)
- Strong command of product and business functionality across these tools, with the credibility to speak to capabilities, configurations, integrations, and limitations, and to provide first-line troubleshooting guidance
- Understanding of systems integration concepts (APIs, data flows, connections to HRIS/ATS/ERP environments) sufficient to assess platform fit and diagnose integration issues
- People management maturity, with experience or demonstrated readiness managing, coaching, and developing direct reports
- Demonstrated experience in a client-facing advisory or consultative role, including developing high-quality presentations and supporting sales presentations, pitches, and RFP responses
- Commercial acumen, including experience supporting or leading vendor pricing discussions and negotiations
- A genuinely tech-agnostic mindset: objective, analytical, and focused on the right answer for the client, paired with strong executive presence
Physical Requirements- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to commute to and work onsite in our Holmdel, NJ office on a hybrid schedule
Education Requirements- Bachelor's degree required (Business preferred)
