ANDERSEN is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to support a growing portfolio of global, real-world entertainment experiences. This role will develop and activate marketing strategies across theme parks, attractions, location-based experiences, traveling exhibitions, live events, and experiential brand activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing programs for theme parks, attractions, live events, exhibitions, and experiential activations
- Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy, positioning, campaign planning, and execution
- Partner with operators, venues, production companies, agencies, and creative teams
- Build scalable marketing frameworks and toolkits for global experiences
- Develop integrated campaigns across owned, earned, paid, partner, retail, and on-site channels
- Manage scopes, timelines, budgets, contracts, approvals, assets, and execution
- Support fan events, conventions, pop-ups, seasonal programs, and other franchise moments
- Track attendance, audience growth, brand impact, and campaign performance to inform future programs
Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills
1. Experiential / Entertainment Marketing – 7+ Years
- Experience in theme parks, location-based entertainment, experiential/event marketing, live entertainment, or destination marketing
- Direct experience with major experience operators, IP holders, live events, traveling exhibitions, or experiential agencies is strongly valued
2. Operator, Venue & Agency Partnership Management
- Proven experience managing operators, venues, production companies, agencies, and creative partners
- Ability to balance brand standards with business and commercial objectives
3. Place-Based & Integrated Marketing
- Strong experience with opening campaigns, attendance marketing, seasonal programs, and on-site guest marketing
- Experience executing integrated campaigns across owned, earned, paid, partner, retail, and on-site channels
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced experiential marketer and project manager who understands how to turn a major entertainment or gaming brand into compelling real-world experiences. They bring strong business acumen, can manage multiple programs and external partners simultaneously, and are comfortable owning campaigns from strategy through execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing theme park lands, attractions, location-based entertainment, or large-scale live events
- Experience supporting global entertainment IP, gaming franchises, or large consumer brands
- Understanding of fan- and player-driven communities
- Strong cross-functional communication and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
