    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and execution of complex mechanical systems for a variety of projects. This role requires a seasoned engineer who can combine technical knowledge with leadership, mentoring, and client-facing skills to deliver high-quality solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

    • Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with codes and standards.

    • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated solutions.

    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, drafters, and project teams.

    • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project reviews to ensure design intent is achieved.

    • Support proposal development and project planning with technical input.

    • Review submittals, RFI responses, and contractor deliverables to ensure alignment with design specifications.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field); PE license in Minnesota preferred.

    • 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally in a mechanical contracting environment.

    • Strong expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and/or fire protection system design.

    • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or other engineering software.

    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
