Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for Senior Mechanical Engineers to be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test environment systems Client effector products.

What You Will Do

• Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical
• Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements
• Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of five (5) years of technical / engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production support .
• Minimum of three (3) years experience with CAD solid modeling tools and/or analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric.
• Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD & T) analysis .
• US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

• Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging.
• Experience with Configuration Management processes, application, and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM).
• Experience in mechanical sub-systems packaging, materials, thermal analysis, structural analysis, control systems, electrical hardware design, or large assembly development.
• Experience with environmental stress screening of hardware (e.g., vibration, shock, thermal, etc.).
• Systems engineering experience.
• Experience with basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching less experienced professionals, and process execution.
