Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Design machine systems and components to meet customer specifications and project requirements.
• Develop 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and bills of materials utilizing SolidWorks.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses to support both new product development and enhancements to existing designs.
• Design and modify mechanical assemblies involving drivetrains, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Partner with purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and commissioning teams throughout the equipment build process.
• Evaluate equipment performance, reliability, safety, and manufacturability.
• Conduct root cause investigations and develop practical engineering solutions to resolve technical challenges.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to service teams and customers.
• Participate in testing activities, analyze performance data, and implement design improvements as needed.
• Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, and supporting design records.
• Support commercial, manufacturing, service, and customer-facing teams with technical expertise.
• Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Design Custom Industrial Machinery Knowledge of Drivetrain design and power transmission systems a plus!

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software; SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of machine design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical assemblies.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience creating detailed engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
