    Description

    The company is seeking a dynamic and motivated Lead Mechanical Engineer to oversee and develop its mechanical and plumbing discipline. This individual will serve as the firm's top mechanical engineer, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of healthcare-related mechanical projects.The selected candidate will build and oversee a mechanical team, providing leadership to a group of 8–10 designers. Initially, they will manage approximately 10 active projects, gradually assuming responsibility for additional projects currently subcontracted to external firms.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the firm's mechanical and plumbing engineering discipline.Manage multiple active healthcare projects from concept through completion.Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 8–10 designers.Establish internal standards, processes, and best practices for mechanical engineering operations.Collaborate with other discipline leads to ensure project coordination and technical excellence.Develop and optimize internal Revit resources, templates, and workflows.Provide technical expertise and problem‑solving in the design of HVAC and plumbing systems.Drive modernization of systems, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and performance.Qualifications & SkillsStrong experience in healthcare mechanical and plumbing system design , including ambulatory centers, surgical centers, and surgery suites.Proven expertise in Revit , with the ability to develop and maintain internal resources and standards.In‑depth understanding of healthcare facility requirements such as inpatient centers, imaging suites, and specialized treatment areas.Highly technical, hands‑on approach with the ability to guide and influence design standards.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe company seeks a professional who is ambitious, collaborative, and ready to grow into a leadership role.
