We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager in Boise to lead large-scale commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Impact
Deliver multi-million-dollar mechanical projects on schedule and within budget.
Build and maintain strong client relationships that drive repeat business.
Mentor junior project managers and coordinators on best practices.
Drive profitability through effective cost management and change order execution.
Responsibilities
Manage all phases of commercial mechanical projects from award through final closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders with vendors and trade partners.
Lead project meetings with owners, architects, and general contractors.
Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
Oversee field operations and coordinate with superintendents on installation sequencing.
Manage change order processes and maintain accurate job cost reports.
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Requirements
Must-Haves
7 or more years of mechanical project management experience in commercial construction.
Proven track record managing projects valued at 5 million dollars or more.
Experience with design-build and plan-and-spec delivery methods.
Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or construction management.
Experience with healthcare, education, or mission-critical facility projects.
OSHA 30 certification.
Compensation and Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience; benefits include health insurance, PTO, and paid holidays. This is a full-time role based in the Boise metro area.
