Job Description

Seeking highly skilled Senior .NET Developers to join the team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute within a mission-focused organization, supporting Department of Education applications and stakeholders through a comprehensive suite of data collection and reporting tools.

As a vital member of the team, you will play a key role in advancing DevOps initiatives and delivering secure, high-quality technical solutions. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance development practices and automate pipelines that accommodate substantial data volumes. This remote position requires attendance during standard business hours Monday through Friday, with on-site presence strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable DevOps processes to support the development and deployment of enterprise-level applications.
  • Lead automation, CI/CD, and cloud technology initiatives, including centralizing code repositories within GitHub or Azure DevOps to streamline workflows.
  • Evaluate and enhance coding practices by integrating automated scanning tools to uphold rigorous standards of code quality and security.
  • Proactively manage technical debt and drive continuous improvement throughout development cycles.
  • Optimize processes related to code branching, merging, and releasing to ensure seamless and efficient deployments.
  • Automate build and deployment workflows to minimize manual intervention and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Enhance unit and integration test coverage to guarantee application reliability and performance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in .NET Core, applying structured, pattern-based development practices for complex logic implementations.
