NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Description – Senior .NET Developer
Day to Day Job Duties:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and modern software architecture patterns.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements, solution designs, application components, and implementation plans.
• Build scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performance enterprise applications supporting mission-critical business functions.
• Provide technical leadership across applications, services, APIs, databases, and enterprise integration layers.
• Support the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and sustainment.
• Maintain and modernize existing .NET applications while developing new features and enhancements.
• Design and implement application integrations across enterprise systems using established integration patterns.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA specialists, business stakeholders, architects, developers, and other cross-functional technology teams.
• Manage and deliver backlog items including new features, application enhancements, bug fixes, technical debt, and modernization activities.
• Contribute to application modernization and migration toward cloud-native architectures using Microsoft Azure.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, testing, and secure software delivery practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and OpenAI Codex to improve development productivity, code quality, and delivery velocity.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering-quality initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance throughout application development and delivery.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation requirements, testing practices, and Secure Development Lifecycle principles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving user interfaces, backend services, databases, integrations, and distributed application components.
• Support performance optimization, reliability improvements, application security, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, retrospectives, and release planning.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience working with SQL Server, JavaScript-based application technologies, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience working within Agile/Scrum software development environments and using version-control technologies such as Git and/or TFS.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements, architecture designs, and end-to-end software solutions.
• Experience supporting the full Software Development Life Cycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support.
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise APIs, integrations, backend services, and distributed application components.
• Experience with application modernization and cloud-based solution development, preferably using Microsoft Azure.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience participating in code reviews, technical design reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Experience troubleshooting complex application issues across UI, backend, database, and distributed-system layers.
• Experience applying secure coding, testing, documentation, and SDLC best practices.
• Experience working effectively with product owners, QA teams, business stakeholders, architects, developers, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Degree:
Bachelor's degree preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience developing front-end applications using React, Angular, and/or Vue.js.
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with Windows Workflow Foundation.
• Experience designing and developing applications using microservices architecture patterns.
• DevOps experience including CI/CD, automated testing, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Experience with Azure Cognitive Services or related AI services.
• Experience working with API-driven data platforms and enterprise integration solutions.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and OpenAI Codex.
• Strong customer-facing communication, stakeholder-management, and cross-team problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting large-scale application modernization or digital-transformation initiatives.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this hybrid role is ($50-$60/hour).  This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
