Senior .NET Developer - Modernization Lead

Location: Everett, MA
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $60-$70/hr

Job Summary:
Seeking a Senior .NET Developer to lead legacy application modernization, architecture improvements, API development, and technical delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, development, and modernization of C#/.NET applications.

  • Refactor legacy systems and reduce technical debt.

  • Develop secure, scalable REST APIs and backend services.

  • Optimize SQL Server performance, indexing, and queries.

  • Establish coding standards and conduct design reviews.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.

  • Collaborate with QA and DevOps on automation and CI/CD.

  • Mentor developers and guide technical decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of enterprise C#/.NET development experience.

  • Strong ASP.NET MVC and REST API skills.

  • Advanced SQL Server performance tuning experience.

  • Experience modernizing legacy applications.

  • Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, dependency injection, middleware, and asynchronous processing.

  • Familiarity with Angular or React, Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.

  • Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
