Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. Required:- Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
- Experience as a lead developer or development manager 2 (7+ years).
- Experience working with development technologies, including Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle databases or similar relational databases (5+ years).
- Experience with terminology and concepts of relational databases, including SQL proficiency.
- Experience with the development and maintenance of Software systems dealing with complex financial business processes.
Preferred:- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET.
- Experience with ORMs, Entity Framework, and n-Hibernate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Work as a developer, facilitator and subject matter expert for applications and services dealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functional application projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented.
- Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging, and production environments.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve problems and issues with troubleshooting tools and techniques as well as teamwork. • Work with the team toward continuous improvement; may include design, definition of roadmaps, standardization of processes and methodologies; collaborate with other developers and architects to drive guidelines, methodologies, and documentation. • Work in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the project are communicated, supported, and delivered to the highest standards. • Develop and apply knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies, and methodologies• Analyze financial systems and dependent business processes; assist in re-engineering and process redesign.
