Senior Network Architect

Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $65-$75/hr

Job Summary:
Seeking a Senior Network Architect to design and modernize enterprise network infrastructure, including hybrid connectivity to AWS.

Responsibilities:

  • Design hub-and-spoke and mesh network architectures.

  • Develop secure connectivity between on-premises systems and AWS.

  • Optimize routing and switching environments.

  • Oversee firewall, VPN, and load-balancing solutions.

  • Monitor network performance and plan infrastructure capacity.

  • Lead cloud networking and software-defined networking modernization.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of network engineering experience.

  • 4+ years in an Architect or Principal-level role.

  • Expert knowledge of Cisco IOS/XE/NX-OS, EIGRP, and BGP.

  • AWS networking experience, including VPC and Direct Connect.

  • Experience with FortiGate, VPNs, F5 or NetScaler, and SolarWinds.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • CCNP required; CCIE or AWS Solutions Architect Professional preferred.
